Laura Bree MVB, MRCVS, grew up in Galway, Ireland, and loves all things dog and cat related. She graduated from and completed an internal medicine residency at University College Dublin.
Laura made the move to the UK in 2019 and works as a European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine internal medicine specialist at Willows Veterinary Referrals. Her special interests lie in endocrinology – especially feline hyperthyroidism and radioactive iodine therapy.
Laura Bree DipECVIM, MVB, MRCV and Jessica Dean BVetMed, CertAVP(SAM), MRCVS provide a comprehensive outline for diagnosing and monitoring these endocrinopathies in dogs.
“Canine hypothyroidism is the most common endocrine disease they see in dogs,” says Laura Bree. “But the biggest consideration and challenge in thyroid disease is the effect of other things on your thyroid hormone.”
